Liquidity Rewards

Earn USDC on Polymarket markets by providing liquidity with resting limit orders

What are liquidity rewards?

Polymarket runs two maker incentive programs that pay USDC to traders who provide liquidity with resting limit orders. Vezta surfaces both directly in the order ticket, but the programs, eligibility rules, and payouts are Polymarket's — they apply only to Polymarket-sourced markets and are funded and paid out by Polymarket, not Vezta.

These are separate from Vezta's own platform rewards (points, referral commissions, and fee discounts), which apply across the whole platform.

The two programs reward different things:

  • Liquidity rewards — pay you for quoting: keeping limit orders resting near the midpoint.
  • Maker rebates — pay you for getting filled: a rebate when your resting order executes.

Both require you to be a maker (a resting limit order). The difference is presence vs. execution — you can earn liquidity rewards on an order that never fills, while maker rebates only trigger when it does.

Liquidity rewards

Some markets advertise a daily USDC pool shared among makers who keep limit orders resting on the book near the midpoint.

  1. Open the order ticket on a market showing the Trading rewards available badge.
  2. Switch to a limit order.
  3. Place an order that meets the market's rules — at least the minimum order size and within the maximum spread of the midpoint.
  4. Keep the order resting. At settlement the pool is divided pro-rata across eligible makers, weighted by order size and the time each order spent inside the reward zone. Tighter spreads and larger resting orders earn a larger share.

Maker rebates

Separately, Polymarket pays a USDC rebate when your resting limit order is filled — you earn for adding liquidity that actually trades, on top of any liquidity rewards. The rebate is per fill on the maker side of the trade.

Where to see it

  • A ⚡ $X/day badge appears on eligible Polymarket markets and event rows.
  • The order ticket shows Trading rewards available with the market's minimum order size, maximum spread, and daily rate, plus links to both Polymarket programs.
  • Your active LP positions, earnings, and yesterday's rebates are in Portfolio → Rewards.

Liquidity rewards and maker rebates are Polymarket-only. Markets routed through Kalshi / DFlow carry no equivalent program, so the rewards badge never appears on them.
