Top traders ranked by ROI, win rate, and volume
Overview
The Leaderboard ranks traders by their prediction market performance. It is both a competitive feature that drives engagement and a discovery tool for finding wallets worth following via Copy Trading or the Wallet Tracker.
Leaderboard Tabs
The leaderboard is organized into two main views:
Global
Rankings of all traders across the platform. This includes everyone who has traded through Polymarket, sourced from on-chain data. Traders are ranked by their aggregate performance metrics.
KOL (Key Opinion Leaders)
A curated subset of verified traders with recognized public profiles. KOL status is derived from Polymarket's verified badge system. This tab helps you identify well-known traders whose strategies may be worth studying.
Time Periods
Filter rankings by time window:
- 24H -- performance in the last 24 hours
- 7D -- last 7 days
- 30D -- last 30 days
- All Time -- lifetime performance
Short time periods highlight who is performing well right now. Longer periods reveal consistent performers.
Metrics and Sorting
The leaderboard table displays multiple performance metrics. Click any column header to sort:

| Trader | Wallet address (truncated) or display name with avatar |
| PnL | Total profit and loss in USD |
| ROI | Return on investment as a percentage |
| Win Rate | Percentage of resolved positions that were profitable |
| Volume | Total trading volume in USD |
| Trades | Number of trades placed |
| Best Trade | Largest single profitable trade |
| Streak | Current winning or losing streak |
The default sort is by PnL, but you can switch to ROI, win rate, or volume to find different types of top performers.
Sparkline Charts
Each row includes a small sparkline chart showing the trader's recent performance trend. This gives you a quick visual sense of whether a trader is on a hot streak or cooling off.
Searching
Use the search bar to look up a specific wallet address. If the address has any trading history on the platform, their rank and stats will appear even if they are not in the top 100.
Row Actions
Each trader row provides quick actions:
- View Profile -- see their full trade history, positions, and detailed stats
- Copy Trade -- go directly to copy trade configuration for this wallet
- Track Wallet -- add this wallet to your tracker watchlist
The top 3 traders on each leaderboard are highlighted with gold, silver, and bronze accents. If your own wallet appears in the rankings, it is highlighted with a distinct border so you can quickly find your position.
Data Freshness
Leaderboard data is synced from Polymarket every 10 minutes and enriched with detailed statistics (ROI, win rate, sparklines) every 30 minutes. The rankings reflect near-current performance, not stale snapshots.
Categories
In addition to the overall leaderboard, you can filter by market category to see who performs best in specific domains: Politics, Sports, Crypto, and more. This helps you find specialized traders to follow in the categories you trade most.
