Fund Your Account
How to deposit funds for trading
Before you can place trades on Vezta, you need to fund your account on the underlying prediction market platforms. Vezta routes trades to Polymarket or Kalshi depending on where the market is listed, so funding requirements depend on which markets you want to trade.
How Funding Works
Vezta is non-custodial. Your funds are never held by Vezta. Instead, when you deposit, the funds go to a sub-wallet managed on the underlying platform. When you trade, Vezta routes your order to the correct platform and executes it using your deposited balance.
Vezta uses a sub-wallet system to manage your funds on each platform. This means you do not need separate accounts on Polymarket or Kalshi -- Vezta handles the platform interaction for you.
Polymarket Funding
Polymarket operates on the Polygon network and settles trades in USDC (USD Coin).
To fund your Polymarket sub-wallet:
- Ensure you have USDC on the Polygon network in your connected wallet
- Navigate to the deposit section in your Vezta account
- Approve the USDC transfer and confirm the deposit amount
- Your balance will be available for trading on Polymarket markets within moments
If you do not have USDC on Polygon, you can bridge from Ethereum or purchase USDC through your wallet's built-in swap feature.
Kalshi Funding
Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated exchange that settles in USD. Kalshi supports several fiat deposit methods:
- ACH bank transfer
- Wire transfer
- Debit card
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Kalshi funding is handled through the Kalshi platform's deposit flow. The specific methods available may depend on your region and verification status.
Checking Your Balance
Your current balance is displayed in the trading panel when you select a market. The balance shown corresponds to the platform where that market is listed:
- Viewing a Polymarket market shows your USDC balance on Polygon
- Viewing a Kalshi market shows your USD balance on Kalshi
You can also see a summary of all balances in the Portfolio section.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals are processed back through the underlying platform:
- Polymarket -- USDC is returned to your connected Polygon wallet
- Kalshi -- USD is returned to your linked bank account
Always double-check wallet addresses and network selection when depositing or withdrawing. Sending funds to the wrong network may result in permanent loss.
