Upcoming market catalysts and resolution dates
Overview
The Events Calendar gives you a structured view of upcoming market catalysts -- the real-world events that prediction markets are built around. Instead of browsing individual markets to find resolution dates, the calendar surfaces everything in a single timeline so you can plan your trading around known events.
Calendar View
The main calendar displays events in a month-view grid. Each cell shows the events scheduled for that day:
- Market resolution dates -- when specific prediction markets are expected to resolve
- Catalysts -- significant real-world events that could impact market prices (elections, earnings reports, policy announcements, data releases)
- Expiring markets -- markets closing within 24 hours, highlighted for urgency
Events are color-coded by category for quick scanning. Click any event to see the associated markets and navigate directly to their detail pages.
Filtering
Narrow the calendar to the events that matter most to your strategy:

Event Detail
Clicking an event reveals:
- Event description -- what the event is and why it matters
- Associated markets -- all prediction markets linked to this event across both Polymarket and Kalshi
- Current probabilities -- the latest odds for each associated market
- Volume and liquidity -- how actively each market is trading
This grouping is useful because a single event (like a US election) may have dozens of related markets across both platforms.
Planning Your Trades
The calendar is a strategic tool for several trading approaches:
Pre-event positioning. Enter positions before major events when probabilities may be mispriced relative to your analysis. Markets often see increased volatility as events approach.
Resolution tracking. Know exactly when your open positions will resolve. Plan whether to hold through resolution or sell beforehand to lock in gains.
Expiring market opportunities. Markets about to expire sometimes present mispriced opportunities, especially when the outcome is nearly certain but the price has not fully converged to $0 or $1.
The Events Calendar pulls resolution dates from both Polymarket and Kalshi. Some markets may have approximate resolution dates that shift based on when the underlying real-world event concludes.
PnL Calendar
Separate from the events calendar, the Portfolio page includes a PnL Calendar that shows your daily trading performance in calendar format. The Events Calendar here is focused on future market catalysts, while the PnL Calendar in Portfolio looks backward at your historical performance.
